Should be reasonably ok to make - or just make a plain white base and 'draw' on some tracks and tell him the train is on the way . . . . or stick on a mini/toy train - or is that too cruel . . . ?

Hi there. I have the 'Favourite Character Cakes' book by Debbie Brown and if you can get hold of it, there is a lovely Thomas the Tank cake. It's actually shown on the front cover. I bought my book from e-bay and it only cost me 3.50 - well worth getting all of Debbie Brown books if you make party cakes. This particular one has also got Postman Pat, Forever Friends, Snoopy, Noddy and loads more. You could ask your local library if they have it. Difficult to explain it all here, you need to see the pictures. If you get stuck, I could e-mail the instuctions to you.
