Oh, I dunno. Richard Gere's "acting", always amusing anyway, was taken to new heights of comedy gold by what I believe was supposed to be an Irish accent. Oh, and you've got to laugh at yet another Hollywood film that portrays an IRA terrorist as some kind of hero, haven't you? I laughed until my cheekbones ached.

What? It wasn't a comedy? Don't be daft, you'll be telling me next that Braveheart should be taken seriously too.

I put original in quotes because it was supposed to be based on the original but is almost totally different.
