They're a funny old thing aren't they?
I just text my so called best friend telling her I have a job interview later this week and got this reply: "Well done on interview. Hope it goes well. But 2 be honest I've got enough on my plate without continuing 2 be a mug. So I'm done"

I have no idea what she means by that. I can't think of anything I would have done to upset her but maybe it's nothing to do with me? I text her back asking what's up and what she means but nothing yet....

We're 25 years old as well!

Blondie83, I had a friend like that but after lies after lies I just blew and told her everything. She admitted all the lies and said that she hated her life and made up stories to make her life sound more interesting and exciting. I told her she was my friend for who she was and not for what she said she had or done etc. We are closer than ever now and she has got alot better. You just have to confront your friend otherwise nothing will change.

Eash... have you heard back from your friend yet. I agree with the others and ring her. Sort it out. Not worth loosing a friend over a misunderstanding.

a very chauvinistic reply there noknowledge. Women do have actual real problems you know. It's just men think they have the monoploly on them!!

Sorry for the delay but I've literally only just found out what's wrong! She just happened to be having a bad week that week and I text at the wrong time. She apologised for the texts and said work had been stressing her out lately. We met for lunch today to talk about things and clear the air.
