FFS, read the damn manual!
I really can't answer on that specific phone, sorry, but in my experience, from new, batteries require a long charge, I seem to recall 12 hours or so, but subsequent charges are a lot less.

That said, I haven't got a new one for maybe a couple of years.

FFFS...don't you think I have...why else would I ask you weirdos

sorry, thanks Postdog.
Obviously not properly eh... go have another look... bet ya its in the first 5 pages... 'how to insert sim card... charge battery' etc ;o)
If yours is yaking seemingly too long, it could be that you have a dodgy battery supplied. This happened to me once, and it took ages to realise it was nothing I was doing (or not doing)
the charging instructions are always in the manual has
or at the very least in the paperwork supplied.

all it says in the manual is how to insert the sim card & battery (as if nobody will know) & only use the phone when it is fully charged. It does not actually give a length of time to follow. I just thought somebody might know...
