Whenever I search for something today, in the msn search box, when the results come up and I click on a link it takes me to a completely different website, eg. katie price took me to foxy bingo homepage

Try using google instead.

Hmmm I would do a virus scan just to check you haven't got one of them worm/trojon virus thingys that hide in the background on your comp and redirects you to other sites. Prob not this but always good to scan your comp on a regular basis anyway :o)
