The window is shut and the motor doesnt work.How do I get to the motor mechanism?

Skids

Remove the interior panel of the door. There are usually several screw fixings hiden behind stuff. Once this is off, cut away the foam sound deadener and there'll probably be a plastic sheet behind that. Cut that and you can get to the motor and mechanism.
