I haven't yet tasted one that has been good. The pasta is always so soggy. Very easy to make smurfchops and you can make it in large batches and freeze it.
i always keep an asda one in the freezer. not as good as homemade but perfectly acceptable as a tasty meal with salad and garlic bread, should the need arise. tried a tesco one once and really didn't like it.
Right, I'm off to get some lasagne from Lidls asap. I presume we are talking about ready made lasagne as a dish rather than the pasta sheets themselves. Is it frozen or chilled that you are talking about.
Most important though - Is Lidl's lasagne soggy? I like pasta to have a bit of a bite to it.
Thanks all, I was thinking of going to M&S as it is for a dinner party, but I have had the Lidl and it is really good. Just wonder where the meat comes from ...
Hi! My son and hubby quite like tesco 'finest' lasagne (its never soggy cos i always manage to burn/overdo everything i cook!!! ) Not being a meat eater, i take their word that it tastes ok!!! Tried to cook it from scratch - omg what a disaster!!!
My daughter and i have vegetarian lasagne with courgettes, peppers etc on the side. Guess, being a vegetarian I can't really give a good answer. Hope you find one that you enjoy :o)
Alfie, shame on you, Lasagne is such an easy dish to make!!! ;o). I bet you could really turn out a lovely veggie lasagne - I reckon you burn things on purpose so you can get out of cooking and spend more time playing with that Pup!!!
Lol Lottie!!! You are spot on!!! talking of which pup has just brought rope for me to play with!!! Ho hum!!! Pup smile: :o=) xxxx
Ps - I can make a wonderful veg pie, packed with new potatoes, peas, baby carrots, brock herbs etc topped with cheesy pastry. Its yummy (for a vegatarian!) - you are right tho - i am sure i could make a lovely lasagne - far better than shop bought. I will try next week and let you know how i get on. xxxx :o)
