i have lost the paperwork for my alarm, it was fitted 2001/2 as far as i can remember, visually it is optima but dont know the model, the panel has no identity marks on it, i want to change my code as i am going away and only want the person looking after my house to have the number, what do i do, how can i reset a code

If you google 'Optima Alarms' then quite a few of the links that come up contain user manuals.

Have a look and see if any of them seem to fit your alarm.

An Optima is simple, press prog then put in your code as it is now, press 8 this should light up zone 1,2,3,4 then type in your new code and when you have done this you should get a set of bleeps, then press reset.....


All should now work with your new code....
