I have, stupidly, deleted an email with an important word doc attached. I forgot I was working on it as an attachment and deleted it! HELP!

Look on the bright side; you won't do it again! (I've learnt not to press the shift key when I delete as that deletes it altogether. Always check the deleted mails - and the recycle bin - before deleting them too!

When you delete something in a Windows application, it is simply marked as disk space that may be overwritten (used for another purpose).
