Hi,

Is now a bad time now to apply for a Virgin 0% credit card? What with this whole credit crunch thing going on. I've been in a stable job for the past year 1/2 and I'm earning a good wage.

What do you think I need to transfer between 2500 and 3000

Thanks

If you're paying interest on the 3k, then it probably is a good idea to change to Virgin with the 0% for 15 months offer.

Just don't use it for anything else.

Don't forget you will have to pay 2.8% transfer fee = 84

That Martin Lewis does it so much better though :)

Thanks guys. I have it on an abbey zero card until november but my finances haven't quite worked out over the past few months! I have 3 payments left at 0% and i dont think I'd be able to pay the full amount off in that time. Which is why I was planning on getting the 0% for 15months you can transfer at anytime and in novemeber when it runs out I can transfer it over. I'm changing jobs in the next month which is why I wanted to apply for the card now before I switched...do you agree with my plan or do you think its flawed?
