good old days 2

Remember in the good old days when someone was really old , they caught influenza.
The doctor came round and told the family to prepare for a funeral soon.
Nowadays they rush them to hospital hook them up to 30 grand machines pump them full of antibiotics costing hundreds more and all the time they're there they get their pension too.
Damn that's not such a good example is it ?
That's sarcasm BTW so don't fret wrinklies : 0)
