Take a handful of cool, used coffee grounds and rub them into your hands well then rinse off :)
For garlic breath either chew fresh parsley or a coffee bean
i don't know which is worse, garlic or a coffee bean!! i heard rubbing a solid silver spoon on the area helps, but i can't say i've tried it, i quite like the lingering smell of strong garlic on my hands )
wash your hands under a running tap with soap and a teaspoon. rub the teaspoon all over your hands, and rinse.
smell should have gone.
:-)
