Well I'm going to stand up and say I'm very proud that he (Andy) has got this far. Dunblane is not a big place and to have 2 brothers so talented in this field is no mean feat. I'm watching the match at the moment and Federer is playing a storm so I'm not holding my breath for a Murray win -but who knows. It's not over till the fat lady sings...........
Andy Murray can be a bit offhand, and rude. But we have a long tradition of very nice, but unsuccessful, British players. Annabel Craft, Sue Barker, Tim Henman etc. All jolly nice. No major titles. It's not easy to like Andy Murray as a person, but you have to love him as a tennis player.
It`s not becuase he`s a jock, if it was Tim Henman I`d want him to lose as well, they are just posh tw@ts at the end of the day, no charisma, no personality, no chance
ouch! that game was tragic! how did you watch it? was it on a sports channel? i wanted to watch it online but you can't watch it unless you're in america, so i just had to watch the scores online...
