if it has genuinly got lost in the post you should start a dispute with the post office, as you have the number on the counterfoil.
it takes time ,but i have done it twice, on one occasion it was the vendor that was at fault, it is very frustrating I know, but theres no easy way I'm afraid,
Best use paypal next time.
If the vendor won't let you pay by pay pal, don't buy the item,

Good luck.
That's OK roaldo, but if youre using recorded delivery, you may as well send cash,

There is a bit of safety built into a postal order.
It is not the seller's fault the postal order was lost in the post.
You can claim compensation for the lost PO from the Post Office, and will get your money back.

Send another payment to the seller.

thats a good idea ethel i never thought of that i thought that if your money gets lost in the post then youv lost it for good does anyone know how i can do that cos i havent got a clue lol i know its not the sellers fault but its not mine either
Use paypal .

Safer in my opinion.
why is anyone using postal orders in this day and age especially tinker as you are online, you are paying more than you would by paypal!!!
You won the goods and the seller is obliged to sell it to you. The seller will send the goods when they receive payment, which you are obliged to meet. You chose to pay my PO so its your debt. The PO will give you a form to claim back ur lost PO, that takes quite a long time. Meantime the seller is obliged to hold goods for you unless Ebay cancel the deal to release the seller to re-auction.

If u want the goods then u must pay again, or risk being struck off Ebay.
