Burning dvd's

Anyone suggest a (pref free) good prog; for copying my dvds, I had nero 8 on my last computer but the computer is no longer with us, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Dougie.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Try CD Burner XP - the website ( here) says it will burn DVDs though I've only ever used it for CDs. But you do need .Net framework installed to use it
dougielogan you could also try clone dvd its what i use
redjean does your dvd player play + or - or rw discs some dont.having said that i have a dvd player at home that does`nt but it will play phillips writable media this is due apparently to the fact that phillips are the only manufacturer to put something on their discs that make the dvd players think that they are actual dvds
