I have a wedding dress that I used in May. I want to sell it as I can't bring myself to store it in the attic. Does anyone know where I could sell it. I've tried e-bay 3 times and it's been on Angelo's bridal website for approx 6 months. But no luck.

Anyone have any ideas of where would be best? Ideally I would like about 400-600 for it coz it was about 1,200 new and has been dry cleaned and is really beautiful and as new.
Thank you.

Have you thought about lowering the price a bit? I know it cost you 1200 and is in excellent condition but to someone else, it is still second hand and you can get new ones for 600!

Have you looked around to see what other similar dresses are being sold for (second hand prices)?

Otherwise you could try putting an add in your local paper or in the window of your local shop if you have one.

Yeah - thanks for that - I know what you mean. I would ideally like to get around 400-600 but I've got it on e-bay starting at 200. Don't really want to go lower than that or do you reckon it would fire up a good auction if I reduced it to say 1 and then everyone could go mad bidding (in theory or in my dreams!!!). What do you think?
sherryberry - try putting an ad in one of the bridal magazines.
I listed and am happy to say I have sold my dress with www.once-wed.co.uk I tried ebay but the price offered was way too low. With once-wed it took about 3 weeks to sell but i got my asking price of 390, which was just below half of what i paid (800) so i was very happy! Well worth a try for any new brides or brides to be! Good luck!
