Stainless steel hob

My stainless steel hob has brown burn marks around one of the burners. The instruction book does not offer any advice. The hob is quite new, and I don't want to ruin it. Is anyone able to help. Many thanks. LG

Prestige do a stainless steel cleaner which may help.
