My gf has been away at a work conference and last night when we spoke she asked me to send her a pic message of a certain part of my anatomy when it was in a state of 'alertness'.

So I did. Except I sent it to the number listed underneath my gf's number in my contacts list, a female work colleague of mine! I was sick to my stomach for around 15 minutes, until I got a reply from my colleague which said 'nice! see you at work tmrw'. I called my gf and told her what had happened. Thankfully she laughed!

Now I realise I am damn lucky to have got away with it, but it got me thinking, is it actually illegal to send rude pics via your mobile phone? If the person listed under my gf's name had been my boss's wife, who had been mortally offended by receiving the image of my todger, could she have reported me to the Police? Would I have been convicted?

My bosses wife has just asked me if I fancy doing some overtime tonight lol.

Thanks for all your replies. I'm off to hide in the store cupboard.
the police would certainly frown upon indecent photos being sent.

And your provider may cancel your phone contract too

Vodafone T and C state "We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any message account that you have registered for or other storage facility for pictures or video clips where ............ your message account or storage facility is being used to send.............. messages which are obscene, threatening, menacing, racist, offensive, derogatory, defamatory or in violation of any intellectual property or proprietary rights or otherwise in breach any part of these Terms."
ROFL , though I know I shouldn't ! Don't worry though , I think as long as your service provider doesn't know , and the work colleague doesn't raise the subject , you will ok.
bigmamma - 'raise the subject' might put a new slant on it!!!!!
:-)
I've been in a similar situation.....except I sent the rude pic to Mum by accident (the next M in my phones address book). She said 'it wasn't anything she hadn't already seen before although she never wanted to see it again' lol
