How often do you go to a mini mart and ask for a bottle of red wine and the person behind the counter picks any bottle and hands it to you and no change given back....Gary did that last nights episode.

And if Zo runs a clothes stall, why does she always wear that grotsome pink coat?

And why does nobody in Eastenders watch Eastenders?

.....perhaps because it is only a TV programme and isn't actually real.

They same could be said about why don't people locked in garages not create a huge machine for escaping like Matlock or why are there no X-Wing fighter spaces outside Asda?

I've noticed that also, but they sometimes go to the pub in the middle of the day for a bottle of red wine when obviously the minute mart is open?!?!

Someone told me it's not real, apparently Emmerdale and Corrie are made up too.  I'm sorry to be the one to have to break it to you, but I think you ought to know.

What used to P me off in Home and Away though was that Alf would always order food or Finn or Sam would order a Smoothie and then they'd leave it without paying or drinking any!  How rude....

I think it's pretty realistic actually.
I mean how many of us have fathered the child of our
son's girlfriend and tried to pass it off as his
so that he wouldn't run off with our adopted daughter,
who's best friends with the mother of our other child.
We've all done it - I know I have.
Next you'll be telling me you've got your own washing machine.....
I noticed that too! So does that mean a bottle of red wine is cheaper (and nicer) than that on sale in the Vic?
Isn't it amazing that other people spotted that as well? I thought exactly the same thing when he said it but didn't think anybody else would notice

If the writers had to set a scene with gary in the shop buying something for Zoes big cooking extravaganza he could have bought a box of chocolates.....that would be sensible. No he had to go to the shop and ask for wine and not get any change back...... sack the writers the lot of them.
Or better still....Stop watching it!!!!!
Don't watch it - just read it here - Terry Wogan calls it "Deadenders". Long live Tel!

I call Eastenders "Happy Hour".

Before the many furtive mobile calls what used to get me on Eastenders is how everyone used the payphone in Kathy's to phone someone, they never had their own home phone, so everyone would overhear them! They also knew every phone number off by heart without looking it up - from great aunt Mary to NASA.

I still don't understand why even the ones with modern kitchens don't have washing machines
