When you decide how much to sell it for, it tells you how much amazon gets, which is 15% of the amount you are charging plus 75p. They charge a fixed postage charge and you get most of that as a credit on your account (bit confusing - best to look at the website)
If you just have everyday paperbacks to sell, you aren't going to make much money, as there are hundreds around going for very cheap. my textbooks worked well cos there were hardly any around - and textbooks are so expensive that it isn't hard to undercut the Amazon new price. i found it better than ebay cos you just decide how much you want for it and then just forget about it (though you can drop the price if no-one is buying). best thing is that amazon organises all the payments so it gets the money off the buyer, holds it and then the money you've made gets deposited in your account every 14 days. so no worries there. just remember if you go off on holiday to delist all your items.
hello! I sold a cd on there (I bought it in error) anyway it was sooo easy, I just followed the on screen directions. Sorted! and would def use the service again. I got started by clicking on the link that said Do you want to sell this item ...... hope that helps p.s. You name your price (Amazon give you some guidelines)
