Just about to order DVD online & it stated that the DVD Was Region 2 - Will only play on European Region 2 or multi-region DVD players. I've never heard of it. I just own a standard DVD player. Would it still be compatible?

Many thanks NORMANTHEDOG will order it now
Some people might go to the lengths Norman describes by typing their player model number, followed by the word ''hack'' into Google Search. By such means they hope to find instructions for changing their player to accept DVDs from ''All Regions'', using the remote control buttons. Tut, tut!
But many recent players need additional codes that aren't included in the remote control supplied.
if you're in Britain you're in Region 2, so that's normal.
