we have a piece of paper in a computer table drawer with all our necessary passwords in , bt online billing etc

If we go away for weekend the mrs hides it.


Cant find the bl00dy thing now.

We only have one password tried having
different ones ..but do change it frequently
but can't remember my moby no . mrthe

Well this is how daft I am - I created a Word document with all sorts of useful info re the computer, then I password-protected it, so that only I could open it.

And for the life of me I can't remember what password I used, so I can't open the document.

Mind you, y'all know how daft I am.

There is a good way of keeping passwords safe - email them to yourself, especially if you have a web based email address.

Gmail has excellent search so it can easily be found.

Maybe not THE most secure way, but it does me.
