Yeah you can pretty much use any router with any broadband provider.
all you need to do is connect your computer to the router using a cable, enter the IP address of the router into the address bar of your browser, login in with the username and password and then select the ADSL settings and enter the correct username and passord for your connection.
it really is easier than it sounds... setting up wireless if you use can be another story.

why are you trying to change it? netgears are generally better then Belkin anyhow.
but if you do want to change and have a working router don't touch the settings in that at all, just unplug it, swap to the new one and if you cant get the new one working just plug the old one back in and you've got your connection back.
