Nightclub Doorstaff.
Here's the scenario : A young lady is arrested for being drunk and disorderly outside a Nightclub and is issued with a fixed penalty notice by the Police. The lady denies the allegation and elects to go to Trial. The arresting Officer, and a 'bouncer' on duty at the time, both make witness statements. The bouncer states that he assisted the Police in the arrest by forcing the girls arm in order that she could be hand-cuffed.
It turns out that the bouncer's SIA Licence had expired, some months previously, yet he was still officially on duty at the Nightclub, at the time of the incident.
Can anyone please advise on the implications of this situation?
