Tax disc arrived this morning in the post, should I send it back because the colour doesnt match my car?

I once taxed a car for a year, then sold it for newer car.

The post office said I could get a refund via post but could not transfer the tax.

As I had just paid for 12 months Tax, I could not afford to do again whilst awaiting refund.

So, I photocopied the tax disc before sending it off for refund.



Still with me ??



I then dsrove newer car with phocopied tax disc for 6 months till the sun faded it.

you can colour match it with nail varnish, then paint over the tax disc. job done.

I would stay in for a year and hope for a match in 12 months time - no worries then!!

I will look ahead to what colour the tax discs will be in 2010 then buy accordingly I think :D
