Freeview - HDD

1) Is there such a device as a Freeview set top box that includes a Hard Drive but not a DVD recorder?
2) If so is there any method of transferring recordings from the above Hard Drive to a remotely situated HD - DVD recorder - player (with an SD port) which is capable of upscaling OR to a High Definition Ready TV (with a USB port)?
3) If so, how much memory would say a 2 hour film require?
Sorry if all these queries are a bit basic (even stupid) but that's just technology and me.

2) connect the output of the freeview PVR to the input of the DVD recorder and press play on the PVR and record on the DVD recorder.. (and why has your TV got a USB port, do you mean a HDMI socket?)
3) depends on the quality settings on the PVR.

Thanks ChuckFickens The USB port is for computer connection to the set and also for transferring pics via USB memory stick into which an SD card can be inserted. The problem is still that the PVR is in an upstairs bedroom and the TV is downstairs. But thanks again am looking at the Amazon link you provided.
Chuck - some TVs do have USB sockets - allows you to watch films or photo slideshows from a memory stick
