bought an exercise bike and started using it last week. its one of them where you can push and pull the handles for an upper body workout too. i havent done any exercise for years and i used it on mon, wed, thur, fri. yesterday / today my left shoulder arm and wrist is killing me. is this just because ive overdone it do you think, and should i rest it till it feels better, or exercise my way through it?
Pain is the body's way of telling you to stop.I think you have overdone it a bit and should maybe wait until the pain has subsided a bit before trying again.Start off with twice a week and build up to daily once you get back into it.
