Marvelon

Anyone else on the contraceptive pill marvelon?? I've only been on it a few weeks but I heard it was skin friendly. I've never had major problems with my skin, however, since I've been on marvelon I've had such dry, spotty skin. Does it take a while for me to get used to it??

Yes. For the first three months I was on Marvelon my skin was the worst it has ever been in my life. Then it took another three months to settle down. It's back to normal now, but is slightly oilier than it used to be. I personally think the benefits on Marvelon outweigh the drawbacks, but I did feel pretty rubbish on it at first.

I used to be on Marvelon many years ago (before I had Mr Debbz neutered!!!!) I never, ever had a problem with it. Give your body some time to get used to it. I never had any problems with my skin, hair, nails, bloating or irregular bleeding. It was ace.
