You should have a career advisor on your college campus.  If you havent then you should contact your local connexions centre as they will be able to assist you.  http://www.connexions.gov.uk/

Heres some advice on the Police force careers http://www.policecouldyou.co.uk/default.asp?action=article&ID=336

Good luck.

what about becoming fireman?
It all depends on what you like to do. Are you looking for a job with responsibility, or serving the community (police, fire, paramedic, armed services)? What subjects do you enjoy at school as this might alter what you might do? Have you considered university or further education to gain better qualifications etc? Many jobs do need more training. Also you might consider an apprenticeship - studying on the job if you enjoy practical work.
The careers services can be really helpful and they have lots of people every day coming in not knowing what to do.
Failing that, give us a little more direction in what you want to do, and well some up with more suggestions!
Good luck!
