I'm tired

For the past 2 weeks I've been working my guts out and I've had to work through my lunch. My reportee has gone to visit her mother in Ghana who's having a 90th birthday so I have to do all her work while she's away until 1st Dec. Another colleague of mine is going to India to visit relatives on 17th Nov and I have to also cover for him as I'm the only one who knows how to do his work! %"&%$&^bugg*r(^$^�"$�"!%@~#

Is it me or does anyone else feel that they get treated like a skivvy at work?

I work for myself, from my second bedroom, which I have converted into an office

I won't ask what you do as that would be an infringement of your privacy JJ but I would love to work for myself. Either that or if I could afford to do it I would run my own private meals on wheels for the elderly and infirm in my area.

I've posted what I do on here before tiggy, so it's not a big secret.

Self employment has a load of pluses and minuses ... the main minus being not getting paid if you don't make money in any period.

I wish I was self employed to. Mr TT keeps on saying we are going to do it bit I don't know whether we ever will

If I could get motivated I could do it but it would be a huge change for me. I'm just so used to doing what I do that I don't know if I could cope sorting out my own tax and other finances.

It's as easy as you make it, if you really want to. Get a good Tax Accountant & they should help you with that side of it.
Sometimes you have to take a gamble in life otherwise you will always be thinking what if????
