after listening to this,its obvious paul became the driving force behind the beatles in their latter years.i suppose they just got fed up with one another in the end!!

I think the Beatles did much better than Abbey Road. The most beautiful songs the Beatles ever recorded were We Can Work It Out (Paul McCartney) and If I Fell (John Lennon). If I Fell has the most wistful and accurate vocal harmonisations I have ever heard. If only they'd stayed together...

Lennon and McCartney both great in their different ways even though neither of them couldl read a note of music. They were the forefront of a British revolution which transcended music Having an astute manager helped. What I cant understand is how they could work with such a mediocre drummer and guitarist. Ringo must wake up every morning and thank God that he happened to know them.
