I have an epson sylus D92 printer which has stopped working.
The power light is flashing and there is a red light permanently on - which seems to mean "waste ink pad in the printer is saturated" according to the manual.
Does anyone know what this means and how to fix it please.

Thanks in advance

look at www.fixyourownprinter.com
Disconnect the USB cable from your printer
Turn off the power switch; wait until the LCD message display clears and all the indicator lights go out
Press the Cleaning and Load/Eject buttons simultaneously, and hold them while you turn on the power switch
You will see the message display "Particular Setting", as you've already discovered
IMMEDIATELY press the Cleaning button and hold it for 10 seconds. If you wait more than 3 seconds, the printer will try to enter its normal startup cycle, and you'll revert to the "Call Service" message.
When you press the Cleaning button, the message display will read "Ink OFC"; keep holding the button. At the end of 10 seconds, the display will change to read "Rst. Ink OFC". That is your confirmation that you have successfully cleared the waste ink counter.
Release the Cleaning button; the printer enters its normal startup cycle, only now it won't give you that pesky "Call Service" message, and it will operate normally.

that worked for my printer(not you model,I know.)
