Disappointed

we have a big weeding anniversary next year and had booked a touring holiday round parts of canada and america, we would be in new york on the actual day and i was so looking forward to it. i have just taken a call saying that the dates have changed - we have a choice of going sooner or later but whatever we do we will be at home on the special day. I feel really let down now and not sure what to do, i have to ring them back to let them know and dont know what to say - what would you do?

Difficult. I think I'd have a modest celebration at home and have the holiday afterwards as the 'main event' ...not much else you can do apart from cancelling altogether and trying to book a different holiday centring round the special date.

that was my initial thoughts but wont quite be the same will it? And i spent hours looking through brochures finding the 'right' holiday - its been booked months and im so excited ive told the world and his wife we'll be in new york!
