Daddies sauce

went into Tesco today and couldn't find any Daddies Sauce (haven't been able to find it the last few times I have been in) asked an assistant and was told it has been discontinued!

Does anyone know if this is true or if it is being repackaged my boyfried will be gutted as he loves this stuff!

Tesco Rugby staff inform me that Tesco are no longer stocking Daddies products. reason given was that they were no longer available. HP sauce which is horrible is still being sold, even though it comes from the same factory.

Note - Heron has a large stock again. It stills say " made in the Uk " on the bottle ie not Netherlands - so it could still be old stock.

absolutely gutted my tesco hasnt got it on the shelf but has left a space for it on the shelf.im on my last dregs of daddies and dont want to buy hp as it is a **** imitation of the powerfull dadies phenomem.i am going to give it three to four weeks and then set up a website with a petiton to bring back the proper dadies instead of hp.kids will grow up thinking hp is good when daddies is the king stop it now!any help email me at [email protected] and we will form a dadies tribute

I don't know where you've based - but as I've said, I've found a large stock in my local Herons. Its seems they're ( almost ) nationwide. Good Luck, and if you start a petition I'll sign it.

Just found this site last night (looking for DS - looked in Dorset & Cornwall), then emailed Heinz to ask when it'd be back. Here's the reply... [he obviously didn't see this site!]...

The warm weather which we enjoyed earlier in the year has meant that the normal seasonal increase in demand for some sauces started much earlier than usual. At the same time a number of our successful promotional campaigns have added considerably to the demand for some of our most popular sauces. Unfortunately, the high sales during this period has meant that our usual stocks have been lower than normal in some instances which has meant that Daddies Brown Sauce - Glass may have occasionally been out of stock in your local store.

We would like to reassure you that we are working around the clock to produce more of these popular products and ensure stores are fully stocked as soon as possible.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused and in the meantime you may wish to try the following stores in your local area.

Please to say that Daddies sauce (both red and brown) now resides on the shelves at Morrisons, Newark-on-Trent.

Glad people in the north are starting to find it. Anyone around Bournemouth/Poole found it yet? Nearest Morrisons to me is an hour's drive away - looking nearer to Poole (Dorset).

I'm glad it's not just me. Tesco's in Hull aren't stocking it at the moment and my sister can't get it in Leeds area. Will try Heron stores. Thanks all

Just went to the Bookers Cash & Carry site and they carry catering size packs as well as retail. If you like the stuff as much as me, the catering packs are great.
I just wish I could get some in Idaho.

I am allergic to tomatoes and Daddies has been the only brown sauce I could buy as it doesn't have tomatoes in it.
Now I have found Granovita which is OK for me, but I prefer Daddies

have just discovered Morrisons have Daddies Sauce in Stock -well at my local one which is in Cambourne in Cambridgeshire

I went into Morrisons Cheltenham as a last attempt to find Daddies Sauce .. and there it was on the shelf even a choice of bottle sizes ...So I now have a stock and I am waiting for my next bacon sandwich ...

Very interested to discover the post here and the passion for Daddies hot sauce. I myself am a great fan of Pickapeppa Original Sauce, OK it comes from the Caribbean but is IMHO the best brown sauce. You can get it online a ChilliWorld
