the vet found out that hes got cancer all through his body so hes getting put down 15/11/08 im feeling alot of emptyness and hes the bestest dog you can ever have.

Pickles is curled up on my feet on my bed as I type and I cant imagine life without her.

I am sorry to hear about your dog - it is such a difficult decision to make, even though you know that it is the best decision.

Cry all you want - don't make non-animal lovers make you feel stupid. All of us on this section have been through this period of mourning at least once. I have had to take time off work because I was too distraught to leave the house.

Although I dont know you, I will be thinking of you today, it is so very sad, but when we have a dog we know we almost always outlive them, and have to go through a sad loss. Be brave for your boy, talk to him and be with him at the end, you will, in time, be able to think of the good times you enjoyed together.

Cheethas - i feel for you today.
Sandmaster - took my 11 year boxer for check yesterday as her end is coming i Know. She is not in pain but seeing them age is so dreadful, but thank goodness she is ok for now.
