Black spot on my dogs snout

He flinches when i touch it so its sore for him , its where his whiskers are , the spot like thing is stuck out looking like a wart ... i have made an appointment at the vets for tonight but wondered if anyone had any idea what it could be

If it is a tick put vaseline over it this will block its breathing as it breaths through its back end it will back out and leave a small hole which will heal keep an eye on it though when spread the Vaseline as it will back quite quickly don't be tempted to pull it out as some of the tick could remain in the skin causing infection

there is a fairly easy way of removing it without using tweezers put vaseline over it will not be able to breath and it will back out believe me it works
its less painful for both the dog and you
