Not with my bank - you must have a direct debit with them. Others may be different.

I think most reputable lenders require a direct debit these days.

I work at a secondary lender and again no - dd paymetns required. Do you have a credit union near you? They may be able to help.

cursed keyboard!! anyway, I would seriously doubt it, the decision is made on your income or existing monies, a Bank would need to see money coming in to ensure they could recieve their share, or failing that have something tasty against the loan securing it.
