I have had a letter and a message left on my pnone to call these people quoting a ref number then they will tell me who and how much the debit is that i owe. I found this a bit weired as i do have debts but are all in hand with collectors,so not sure what this is all about.
I have looked them up and see they are a debt collecting agency, but have not herd a good thing about them,i have not called or replied to the letter and dont think i will. has anyone else had this problem and if so what did they do about it. Any advice please would be greatly appreciated.

It may be that they are now acting as debt collectors for one of your debts (creditors often change the debt collectors without telling the debtor) but if so they need to write to you giving the details of the debt concerned. If they ring again and you answer the phone tell them you'll have nothing to do with them until they do that. It's quite wrong for them to suggest they can simply give you such fundamental information on the phone. What they really want is to try & pressurise you into paying more than you can afford. Don't let them.
