3 eggs whisked and fluffy. Hot lard in fry pan and add egg mix. After 3mins lift edge of omelette to check underside is browning. Add other ingredients on top, ie onion/peppers/fried mushrooms. With two spatulas gently fold the omelette into half-moon shape. Edges will seal thru leakage.
tera you use lard???, i beat some eggs with a dash of water, season, cook off your chosen veggies in non stick frying pan, either take out or leave in,turn up heat, add egg mixture, pull in from the sides till egg mixture is nearly set add veggies and grated cheese if you like, turn up grill to high, then pop under until fluffy and set, remove and either slide on to plate or fold over, forgot to say that i use either butter or marg to start the cooking!!!!
Use two eggs, roughly mixed with a fork. Add seasoning, Add 2 teaspoons grated parmesan.
Heat small non stick omelette/frying pan until hot and then drop in a knob of butter. It should sizzle if it is the right temperature. Pour in the egg mixture and leave for a few seconds. Then pull in the sides with a silicon spatula. Leave a few seconds more and do the same. Then sprinke grated cheese/fried mushrooms/ham on one side. When cooked but egg still a bit runny slide off onto a plate, folding it as you go.
I just tried this recipe this weekend & it really works! Using a plastic zip lock bag put 2 eggs, salt, pepper and whatever veggies, cheese or meats. Squeeze & knead bag to mix all together. Place in pot of boiling water for 8-12 minutes. When done cut the bag open at the top & slide omelet out onto plate. Omelet is firm & all in one piece.
