Washing machine softener compartment

Anyone any ideas why my softener dispenser is full of water when the wash is finished. I have to take out the drawer after each wash to empty the water, before I can add softener for the next wash ??????

Take your dispenser drawer out and wash it in hot soapy water - it gets clogged with washing powder and softener residue after a while which stops the water from flowing properly. Mine is exactly the same.

Also, a Bosch engineer told me that it is always best to dilute all conditioners with water - 50/50. This cuts down on residual water and prevents clogging!
