Has anyone else been?What's your opinion on it? Do you love it or hate it? Did u used to love but not any more or vice-versa? I'd love to hear your views.

My current opinion on it, is that I still love it still a hip and happening place, but it's increasing becoming more commercialised, the refurbishment making less vibrant and alive, and it's becoming very touristy. U know something's not right when you see on location, Middle Class Women hauling their spawn about in their baby buggies.

if you go in the summer the market in fantastic, great atmosphere, lovely food..

I used to go there often when I was a teenager, and now my daughter (almost 15) loves it.

Hi sara3, it's not too bad in the Winter either! Me and the wife spent the most of our day off yesterday as part of our christmas shopping in the market and it's almost as vibrant as it is in the summer.

I feel quite nostalgic about the place, it kind of represents a good part of my youth :o)

it smells,the food is rancid.the clothes are crap,the traders are rip off merchants,apart from that its still a $hite hole
