Help with electric shavers????

Hi all, I want to get my fella the above but one where it leaves a stubble....ive looked at loads of them and they all say they give a close shave.....help!!!

Oh thanks terambulan, I have never heard of trimmers! and there soo much cheaper than an electric shaver...even better!!!
