A Euro is now a '�' -not literally. Mind when I remember a Euro was 1.72 to a pound -sorry if this is old news but its shocking tho.

Where are all the Euro sceptics now I wonder -i was never one has to be said.

Couldnt quite understand why we were out of step with the rest of Europe especially Germany where they hold a strong economy -now i'm a tad irritated that we didnt revolt against the Government at the time.

I don't know about confidence in the pound; I'm just glad that I have euros left over from my last holiday (June 07) for my next one commencing on Jan 1. lol

i can still get dorada for 1.50 a pint or estrella for a euro


milk for 80 cents and bread for 95 cents for a nice brown loaf.

Just going over my threads -cheers Knobby-it does seem like we have never been off the crown of the road this year -and youre right-nae wonder I dont know night from day at times lol !

I will have a blast in Spain- leave at 04.30am tomorrow and wont be back until Hogmanay -then up to my pals for New Year -cant get better.
