When the person receives the "photo text" it says
" I've sent you an Orange Photo/Video Meessage go to www, orange .co.uk/mms" they give you an Id No and a Password no which is valid for 21 days BUT THERE IS NOTHING THERE AND YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE INTERNET TO GET IT ANYWAY. As anyone come across this??
Yes this is quite normal for Orange and picture messaging. I've never known there to be nothing there so I wonder if they looked properly, If the recipient cannot receive picture messages directly to the phone though, it might be because their phone is not set up for picture messaging. Orange phones will go onto the web automatically to retrieve a picture message. it's very quick and you might not have noticed the "E" or "G" in the window when this happens. If this doesn't happen the party in Spain may need to contact Orange and get this configured. I don't see that the fact they are in Spain would make any difference to any of it unless they are perhaps unable to connect with a Spanish web server to deliver the message visa the web.
Morning Scaniavabis thank you for your reply.....
The spanish orange phone can send pictures to me and I can receive them. But the spanish phone can't receive my pictures from the u.k. what is E & G in the window. does this come up when you are sending the picture??
yes, it should also come up when you send. They are the symbols which show you have an active intenet connection, G is standard, E is a fast connection. Which you get depends on the strength of signal in your area
