I don't mean to be evil but...

Can I hold off buying a house until maybe the Conservatives get in power? I don't want to start a party political argument, but they do have a good record of boom and bust.
I'm sorry to bash any homeowners, I just sold out myself a couple of years ago, but things are getting ridiculous now.

I've put it off for years but it seems like the prices will never go down only up! My friend bought a property nearly 6 years ago for 62,000, she did it up and sold it 4 years later for 162,000.... now she is living in a 350,000 house with her new husband... somehow I wish i bought back then. Although their mortgage is now 1300 a month... they have made a great profit! Will the Conservatives win the election? What happens if they don't... I don't want to put it off any longer. :(
I can remember when the Tories were in power and mortgage rates went up to 15% AND MORE IN SOME CASES. If you want the mortgage to stay lower DONT vote TORY. I was a newly married person when they came to power and believe me it was not good. We are all a lot better off now. And as for hospitals I know they can still do with lots of improvements but all this talk of waiting on trolleys and waiting lists were much worse then. Dont forget Rome was not built in a day iot will take a few more years yet for things to even out and then hopefully we can all judge who is the best party. As for purchasing a house I would do it now it is unlikely that you will lose money on it even the slump in the early nineties house prices have doubled since.
