Why do i always get pistachio nuts that wont open???

My local sell them by the pot, then give you an empty pot for the shells, which is almost full by the time you've finished -so yes they are expensive when you see how much you are paying for the weight of the shells. Yummy though!

Hubby and son said you shouldn't eat the ones not opened. So still have plenty in the pack here....

apart from those lobbed at me because I didn't buy the ones that are shelled and salted!

Well i have always opened the ones that arent opened lol,cos i paid for them,and havent suffered any ill effect otherwise i am sure the manufacturers would have told us!!!

Puddi, no they are not salted, just in the shells. He does bombay mix, olives, and all sorts of savoury snacks. It's a great pub, always packed.
