For Christmas bought my daughter an e machine laptop,
Trying to delete some pre loaded programmes & also trying to update the latest Msn mssgr we seem to be able to get so far then it says cannot delete, something about system administraton. How do we get around this/turn it off.

First of all, you don't delete programs, you uninstall them. Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Uninstall a Program.

Secondly, you may need to be logged in as an Administrator. To check, right-click on the Start button. If you see "Open All Users" rather than just "Open," you are logged in as an Administrator.

Which program can't you uninstall?
