Ibiza

At the end of May/beginning of June, a friend and I have a week booked in Formentera. We are planning to spend a day and night in Ibiza. I understand one side is very touristy and the other side is less so. I am more interested in the latter- we want to go out but not to these clubs where you have to pay a fortune to get in. Would be grateful if anyone could recommend the nicest beach, a nice town to look around, and a town to go out in one night. Thanks

I live in the non-touristy side of the island - Sta Eulalia where the beaches still get packed but there are some very quiet ones like Aigues Blancas (White water) the trouble is you want it all in one fell swoop and you will need a car for all this.  The nice quiet areas do not have good night life which is why they are quiet - Es Cana is quiet busy although very small - with a car its in reach of everywhere.  There is nightlife but its bars not clubs - the same with Sta Eulalia.  Wish you luck
