Hi

Mam and Dad are putting 19 inch digital TV in bedroom and want to know the ins and outs of aerials. They do not really want to stick wires up into loft (mothers s tidy!!).
Has anybody any suggestions??

I have an aerial on my chimney, and also up on the chimney is an amplifier / splitter.

This splits the single aerial singal into FOUR.

They then ran 4 wires from the chimney down the outside of my house to 4 four different rooms, sending the wire in to the room through a small hole in the wall.

So now we have an aerial connection in four rooms, all from the one aerial.

Any decent aerial fitter should be able to do this for you.

I have never heard of anyone worried about having a tidy loft !

A good quality indoor ariel would work fine, i run a 26" lcd tv fine off one in the top floor bedroom.
