Sky Box - Standby Problem

For about the last week my Sky Box keeps turning itself onto standby. It's getting to be a pain as I record something and then come back to a blank screen. When I look back at what has been recorded there is a message on screen that says "Your Skybox Is About To Go Onto Standby". Is anybody else having the same problem or is it just me.

The most recent update for standard Sky digiboxes has introduced the Auto Standby mode previously found on the Sky+ and Sky+ HD digiboxes.

It makes no sense to me why Sky have done this (especially with no notice to their customers) since Sky+ can operate (i.e record) while on standby but obviously standard Sky cannot.

The menu to deactivate Auto Standby is in Services.
